The Restaurant Association will be hosting a Northland MeetMe & member briefing at Down the Road Eatery, 70 Kamo Road, Whangarei on 21 May, 3.30pm – 5pm.
This member briefing will be in three parts:
Part 1: 3.30pm – 3.45pm
Restaurant Association update – upcoming events and activities and discussion about the Northland Branch of the Association and opportunities to be involved.
Part 2: 3.50pm – 4.30pm
Food costing 101, presented by Martin Harrap. Martin will provide his top 5 tips you need to address to keep your food costs under control.
Martin Harrap has over 40 years chef experience in the UK and NZ and has worked his way up to Executive Chef level in hotels, restaurants and convention centers. Martin was also the Senior Chef Lecturer at AUT and MIT, former New Zealand Chef’s Association President and Sky City Auckland’s chef apprenticeship programme coordinator.
Part 3: 4.30 – 5.00pm
