On the edge of New Zealand’s biggest city, acres upon acres of food grow in the rich, fertile soils of Pukekohe.

Alan Fong , the Fresh Grower invites you and your Chef to spend some time on his farm to get to know and to taste his produce. His “niche” vegetables have incredible flavour and texture – a true reflection of the terroir in the rich Pukekohe soils; picked, packed, and delivered fresh daily.

This event is for Chefs who pride themselves on serving fresh, local food that comes from the region. Restaurants who seek to present lesser-known ingredients in different ways,  where the produce as opposed to the protein becomes the hero and those who are looking for new varieties to include in their menus.

Includes:

  •  A short tour of the farm: growing operation, cropping area and a visit to the packhouse
  • Guests will be hosted to a growers lunch prepared featuring The Fresh Grower produce.
  • Guests will be presented with a box of produce courtesy of The Fresh Grower
